PIPE REPAIR

NuLine corrosion control coating restores aged, corroded water pipe systems to a “like new” condition while leaving the pipes in place, avoiding the expense and disruption of pipe replacement. The epoxy coating is applied to the pipes’ interior, which seals and protects the system from further deterioration and dramatically extends the system’s life.

Meets the requirements of NSF/ANSI 61

Sanded Single
Group 8163 (1)

Problem pipes impacted by corrosion are sandblasted clean which helps prepare the pipe interior for further rehabilitation.

Group 8164 (1)

A proven safe resin is blown into the pipe with proprietary techniques that coat the interior of the entire pipe system.

The epoxy dries, leaving a layer of protective coating between the pipe and the water it carries.

Nuline Pipe Repair

NULINE IS USED IN

APPLICATIONS SUCH AS:

Used in pressurized systems including potable, HVAC, fire suppression, gas, and compressed air, NuLine can be installed in pipelines with diameters of 1⁄2 inch to 12 inches in diameter.

  • Potable Water Pipes
  • HVAC Systems
  • Fire Suppression
  • Chilled Water Applications
  • Compressed Air Systems
  • Conduit Piping
  • Water Risers & Water Mains
  • Creates a barrier between the pipe and liquid flowing through it
  • Used on a variety of piping applications, such as piping laterals, elbows in all
configurations, above and underground piping systems, risers, gradient piping, and branches
  • Will accommodate pipe lengths that have varying pipe diameters in a single pipe segment as short as a few inches or as long as 1,000 feet
  • The epoxy coating is safe and non-toxic, meets the requirements of NSF/ANSI 61, and is approved for use in cold and hot potable water applications systems down to 1/2” in pipe diameter.
  • The cured epoxy product is extremely durable and resistant to the corrosive action of acids, alkalis, and petroleum.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

COST EFFECTIVE

Building and ground demolition are unnecessary with in-place restoration, making the process highly cost-effective over traditional pipe replacement. Extended downtime and related loss of revenue to businesses is alleviated. This in-place rehabilitation technology allows for existing pipe to retain its original flow and capacity, thereby conserving both water and power.

SAFE AND DURABLE

The epoxy coating is non-toxic and approved for use in cold and hot potable water applications systems down to 1/2” in pipe diameter. It is also recognized by ICC-ES for application on copper, black steel or galvanized fire sprinkler pipe from 1/2” to 12” in diameter. The cured epoxy product is extremely durable and resistant to the corrosive action of acids, alkalis and petroleum.

COMPLETE SOLUTION

The process can be applied wherever pressurized plumbing is installed: residential properties, schools, hotels, office buildings, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, municipal and federal structures, fuel transport piping and ocean vessels. A wide variety of metallic piping materials can be cleaned and lined.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

NuLine Red Pipe 2
  1. We first drain the water out of the piping system
  2. Then run dry heated air through the pipes to ensure the removal of the moisture in the pipes.
  3. We then sand blast them clean to remove all of the corrosion built up and create an “anchor tooth” on the pipe wall for the epoxy to adhere to.
  4. Once the pipe is fully cleaned, we then apply an epoxy coating system to the inside of the existing piping system, creating a barrier internal pipe coating between the water (or other liquid) and the pipe.
  • Creates a barrier between the pipe and liquid flowing through it
  • Used on a variety of piping applications, such as pipe laterals, elbows in all configurations, above and underground piping systems, risers, gradient piping and branches
  • Will accommodate pipe lengths that have varying pipe diameters in a single pipe segment as short as a few inches or as long as 1,000 feet

The epoxy coating process is an economical and efficient alternative to traditional pipe system replacement.

NuLine_Lead-Pipe_Cutout_03_sm_a

Our technology restores aged, corroded piping systems and copper pipes that have pinhole leaks, for example. Like NuDrain, the NuLine process is much less invasive than pipe replacement and allows residents or employees to continue with daily activities, avoiding business closure or excessive downtime.

Our epoxy coating pipe lining product and system is the result of over 7000 research hours dedicated to finding the perfect viscosity, air temperature cure time and equipment needed to achieve optimal pipe adherence that provides a longer-lasting piping solution. Once the epoxy coating is applied to the interior of the pipe, it will seal and protect the system from further deterioration, dramatically extending the system’s life.
